Celestine Beyoncé Knowles-Lawson ( née Beyonce; born January four, 1954)[2] [iii] [4] is an American baron, fashion designer, and philanthropist known for establishing the brands House of Deréon and Miss Tina by Tina Knowles. She is the mother of singers Beyoncé Knowles and Solange Knowles, and, until 2011, was married to their father Mathew Knowles, the managing director of Destiny'due south Kid.

Personal life and family unit

Celestine Ann Beyonce[2] [5] was born in Galveston, Texas, the concluding of seven siblings. Her mother, Agnéz Beyincé ( née Deréon), was a seamstress. Career

After witnessing the effects of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Knowles co-founded the Survivor Foundation along with Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé, Solange, and Rowland, in order to provide transitional housing for hurricane victims and storm evacuees.[56]
